III: THE EMPRESS - MALKA SPITZER

The next Tarot card is Malka from my graphic novel, "The Book of Joel" (read here: https://www.fortunusgames.com/current-projects) as The Empress!

It's a very fitting card for her because the Empress symbolizes love, fertility, and abundance in all aspects. She represents the creation of life, romance, art, and creativity itself, all of which match Malka well since Malka is interested in art, likes sketching, and of course, is romantically involved with Joel.

Unlike Joel, who thought that any kind of romantic or sexual attachment was pointless before he got closer to Malka, Malka has never thought of romantic feelings as pointless. While she knows many couples, including her own parents, who are dysfunctional, she believes that it can be a great thing if the people involved are emotionally mature, responsible, and honest with each other (of course, a bit of luck is needed as well).
