Dissatisfaction

A portrait of the Dean of Sam's law school, Benjamin Cox, and his wife, Doris. They are characters from my graphic novel project, "Sam in New York."

They are dissatisfied people despite seeming to have the "perfect" life on the outside. Both Doris and the Dean prefer to live by convention and rules, and don't want to think too deeply about what they actually want. Part of the reason why is because the Dean regrets of a lot of things in his past and wants to undo a lot of the damage that his abusive father heaped on him, but is powerless to do so...
