We're nearly done the Major Arcana! After this, we only have one more card to go for the Major Arcana!

The Magician is the second card of the Major Arcana. He represents the idea of the "trickster-wizard," which Sam fits quite well since he's mischievous and he makes "magic" through film and acting.

The infinity sign above his head suggests that there are infinite possibilities for his future and that he has many opportunities to become a famous movie star/director. With the power of the Minor Arcana (as represented by the wand, sword, chalice/cup, and pentacle on the table), he will accomplish his dreams and possibly more.
